Ex-Service
For many years QVSR have provided shelter for a number of ex-servicemen formerly in the Army and Air Force as well as those from the Royal Navy.

In June 2011 we were very pleased to be able to open our Royal British Legion Wing, made possible with the help of a generous grant from the Royal British Legion. The RBL wing comprises of 14 en-suite rooms for the specific use of ex-servicemen.
Our welfare service provides daily support to ex-servicemen, giving advice and guidance in relation to a wide range of welfare benefits, health and employment issues and helping to organise regular activities, events and days out.
As well as valued support from The Royal British Legion, we work in partnership with other ex-service organisations such as Combat Stress, SSAFA, and the Army Benevolent Fund whose assistance has enabled many of our ex-services to maintain their tenancy.
Through our links with the Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation we are able to provide move-on options as well as access to the Warrior Programme and the opportunity to facilitate an outreach service to non-resident ex-service personnel and their dependents in London.
