Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon OBE opens the new “Kamal Chunchie Wing”

Following on from the Blue Plaque event to commemorate the pastor, community worker and anti-racist activist, Kamal Athon Chunchie (1886–1953), we invited Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon OBE to officially open our new “Kamal Chunchie Wing”.

We have created an additional 8 en-suite rooms, two of which will be for the specific use of veterans thanks to funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.
